by ECT

On Monday, the Contra Costa County Public Works Department announced that road work will occur on Marsh Creek Road between July 25 through August 5, 2016.

The road work will occur on Marsh Creek Road from the Brentwood city limits at the Marsh Creek Reservoir to the Clayton city limits at Pine Lane.

The work will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., to resurface the road. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 miles per hour through the construction zone and there will be signs advising motorists, motorcyclists and cyclists of the reduced speed limit and loose gravel.

This work may be rescheduled based on weather conditions.

Electronic message boards will alert drivers of the scheduled work. There will be traffic control through the work area and motorists, motorcyclists and cyclists can expect delays of 30-45 minutes.
