Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-09) issued the following statement today regarding the upcoming presidential inauguration as he joins at least 40-Democrats who are skipping the Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump.
“I will not be attending the inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump on January 20th. Instead, I will be in my district serving my constituents, as I was elected to do.
“The election of Mr. Trump lacks legitimacy due to Russian hacking, which Mr. Trump encouraged, the FBI’s biased involvement, and other irregularities, and I cannot sanction the inauguration by attending the ceremony. However, because I support the peaceful transition of power and respect the office of the presidency, I will work with the new administration when possible to deliver for my district and move our country forward.”

Mister McNerney is my Congressman and I will support him in as I have voted for him. I was in Tracy California years ago, but now I am closer to the California Bay and he is still with me. I have had good health insurance since I was there then.
I was not much for Obama in my past years as I was afraid for my health and his ‘overreach’ and I did NOT like his. But now I am not certain that Mister Trump will make Mister Ryan to keep my health’s insurance. I do not know….. I want to like Mister Trump, but some of his writings is not clear and right to me. I am not CERTAIN and am afraid for my health!
But if Mister McNerney will help to tell Mister Trump to not take away my health insurance then I will be happy for Mister McNerney to do what he needs to do. I do not think that Mister Trump is to draining the swamp for what I need. But I may not be certain. The news is confusing me, so I do not know. I hope Mister Trump will make things good for us as I hear on the radio.
I may be wrong. I do not know what is for sure. Please do not attack me, I am not a voter data hacker, but please help me to think and see things correct.
