Stockton, CA – Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-09) issued the following statement on his victory in the Democratic primary race for California’s 9th Congressional District:
“I want to thank all of the voters in California’s 9th Congressional District who helped make this victory possible. Now, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and turn our attention to the general election. Since 2007, I have worked tirelessly to serve all constituents in the district – fighting to protect small businesses, expand opportunities for hardworking families, ensure our veterans get the health care they’ve earned, and protect our environment for future generations – and I’m eager to build on the progress we’ve made as a country and here at home. I look forward to a spirited and engaging campaign where I’ll be reaching out to voters to share my vision for the future, to earn their continued confidence to represent them in Congress.”
