Pittsburg Police Investigating Home Invasion Robbery

Just before 10:30pm Tuesday night, Pittsburg Police officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred in the 1800 block of Rosa Blanca Drive.

The suspects had fled the location prior to the officers arriving on scene.  There was a family of three at the residence during the robbery, all were adults.

The armed suspects entered the location through an open door and ordered all of the three victims into a downstairs room where they were confined during this incident.  The suspects stole several items from the residence to include jewelry and currency before fleeing.  The suspects had their faces covered during this incident and are only described a dark skinned males.

One of the victims call 9-1-1 after the suspects had fled the residence.  Another victim was seen by paramedics on scene; however no one was transported to the hospital.

According to Pittsburg Police Captain Ron Raman, officers are reviewing video surveillance from private residences in the area as well as footage from our city surveillance camera. Detectives and crime scene investigators are following up on this incident and more information will be provided as it becomes available.  Based on our information to this the victims were the target of this robbery.
