Pittsburg Police Identify Victim in Sunday Night Homicide

On Wednesday, the Pittsburg Police Department identified Li Huajin, 29 of Pittsburg as the employee who was killed in a Sunday night shooting.

The shooting was the third homicide of the year in Pittsburg. Police did not issue any other information on the case other than that they are working leads at this time.

Police say on Sunday night just after 8:20 pm, officers responded to 156 Atlantic Avenue (Super Massage Reflexology) for a report of a shooting.

According to Pittsburg Police Captain, Ron Raman, officers located Li Huajin inside of the business suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  Huajin was pronounced deceased on scene.

Police say the suspect in this case entered the store demanding money and was involved in a physical altercation with several employees.  During this altercation he brandished a firearm and shot Huajin.

The suspect fled the scene and is still outstanding.
