Pittsburg Police Edge Antioch Police in Home Run Derby Contest

In a battle of power, the Pittsburg Police Department took on the Antioch Police Department in a Home Run Derby challenge prior to the start of the Pittsburg Diamonds Baseball game on Tuesday.

In a close match, Pittsburg Police smacked a total of 37 home runs while Antioch Police went yard 34 times.

A portion of ticket sales was awarded to the Pittsburg Police Activities League Program.

Chief Addington called it an outstanding event and thanked the community for supporting the event and law enforcement. He called it a fun time to spend together with a neighboring agency. Chief Brooks thanked Pittsburg for putting out the invite and called it a great cause and looked forward to a rematch in the future.
