Pittsburg Police Arrest Female on Robbery, Carjacking and Kidnapping Charges

Pittsburg Police arrested a 20 year old female from Martinez on multiple robbery, car jacking and kidnapping charges.

On February 5th, approximately 2:38 P.M. Pittsburg PD officers responded to Target, located at 4301 Century Blvd. for the report of a robbery, followed by the report of a car jacking.

It was discovered that the suspect brandished a gun to a Target loss prevention officer as she was stealing items.

The suspect left Target, walked into the Cigarettes for Less, located at 4235 Century Blvd.The suspect pointed the gun at the clerk, demanded the cash from the register. Before the clerk could get the suspect the money from the register, she she took lighters and fled.

The suspect attempted to car jack one vehicle, but the driver fled.

The suspect continued westbound on foot until she car jacked a black SUV.

The suspect fled in the carjacked vehicle southbound out of the shopping center and then westbound on Century Blvd. The suspect vehicle subsequently was involved in a collision in the City of Antioch on Delta Fair Blvd, just east of Century Blvd.

A Los Medanos College Police Officer listening to the dispatched call, along with a Pittsburg PD officer saw the suspect fleeing from the car jacked vehicle and arrested her. The weapon used was located inside the stolen vehicle. The suspect was identified and booked into County Jail.
