Just after 5:00 pm Sunday, Contra Costa County firefighters were dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire in the 2100 block of Lakeview Cir in the City of Pittsburg.
Shortly after arriving on scene, CONFIRE requested a second alarm response after the fire spread to two upstairs units. They were also witnessing an assault in the driveway. The suspect was an Asian male who was later located by firefighters and police were requested.
By 5:22 pm, the fire was deemed under control and the second alarm response was cancelled.
By 5:30 pm, the fire was out and BC8 reported Pittsburg Police evacuated four other units not involved as a precaution.
