Earlier this week, Walnut Creek Police arrested two Pittsburg residents on robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery charges. On Friday, the District Attorney filed charges.
The suspects were identified as Larhea Frazier, 18 and a male juvenile who is a minor and was not identified.
The incident occurred on March 22 at 10:37 am, where a female victim was talking on her cellphone while walking on Mt. Diablo Blvd. near Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. A car pulled alongside the female and a male juvenile got out of the car and grabbed the victim’s phone.
The victim resisted and fought to get her phone back. The juvenile suspect shoved the victim to the ground causing minor injuries. The suspect then jumped back into the car driven by an adult female. An astute citizen who witnessed the crime, called 911 and gave a description and direction of travel.
Walnut Creek police officers spotted and stopped the suspect vehicle a short time later. During the traffic stop, officers found the stolen phone and obtained incriminating statements from the suspects who were arrested for robbery.
On March 24, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and filed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery charges against both the juvenile and adult suspects.

I’m a college student who is going to school to better myself and my community. Us pittsburgians can say every person in Walnut Creek is a racist, bigot whose children will be burnt out drug addicts who will never know the value of a dollar because mommy and daddy always paid to get them out of trouble…but that’s not 100% accurate right? Hi Kenny, I know you mean well and a part of me agrees with you. I know that you are reacting to Pa Roberts mean spirited words and I truly understand but I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. When my husband saw the man that hurt me at the trial he too had a strong reaction, it was all he could do to not go after him. I am reading between the lines of your post and it lets me know that you are a gentleman to feel so bad for this poor woman. I appreciate your feelings.
