The City of Pittsburg’s Code Enforcement Division and the Public Works Department participated in a neighborhood cleanup on Saturday April 5th 2014. The cleanup was focused in the residential area of Willow Landing including DeAnza Park which was made possible through Keller Canyon Mitigation Funds.
Staff from the police department, public works and members of our community filled over 18 cubic yards of garbage and unwanted appliances in debris boxes provided by Pittsburg Disposal.
Similar cleanups have been occurring since 2005 as a part of the city’s ongoing commitment to neighborhood improvements by addressing quality of life issues.
