On October 9, 2015 at approximately 3:33 pm Pittsburg Police were flagged down by the victim as he drove north into the intersection of Diane Ave and El Pueblo Ave.
According to Captain Ron Raman, the victim was holding his neck advising he had just been shot as he was driving north on Diane Ave. The victim could not provide any further information.
The victim was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek, suffering from a single gun shot wound to the neck.
Captain Raman said the victim had two children in the vehicle at the time of the shooting and were not injured.
The victim is a an Antioch resident and approximately 35-years-old. He was listed in stable condition.
