Photos: Station 93 Attacks Small Creek Fire in Oakley

At 10:55 am Wednesday morning, Station 93 of the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a grass fire just off Bernard Road in Oakley. They arrived to find 50-feet or so of fire along Marsh Creek. The fire was never a threat to homes as it was sandwiched between a creek and a bike trail.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but two kids were observed playing in the area shortly before the fire was reported.

Here are few pictures of the incident where the crew was on scene for roughly 30-minutes.
