East Contra Costa welcomed home US Army Pfc. Brandon Bascom Saturday afternoon in Oakley courtesy of the Diablo Valley Flag Brigade, Warrior Watch Riders, Assemblyman Jim Frazier, Oakley Police Department, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and many others.

Worked at Deer Ridge & Shadow Lakes golf courses prior to joining the Army. His love for Country was his driving force into joining the U.S. Army. He is very excited to be deploying and putting his skills into action.
Joined the Army May 2012 went through basic training at Ft. Benning, GA. Following basic training, he was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC where he currently resides. Brandon has earned the German Badge for Military Proficiency in early 2013.

i also have a full video from beginning to end of the whole thing,including the beginning from the golf course from us ridin the carts to the 14th hole where he was all the way to the house.
