Gehringer Elementary School students will have new artwork to look at Monday when they return to school thanks to the efforts of the Liberty High School Interact Club. The group arrived at 8:30 Saturday to paint a US map on the blacktop.

The Interact Club, working in conjunction with the Brentwood Rotary Club, has been going around to East Contra Costa County elementary schools and painting maps as part of a club project.
