Photos: ECCFPD Responds to Oakley Motor-Home Fire

Around 7:25 this morning, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a residential fire on Pecan Lane in Oakley. It turned out to be a motor-home on fire where crews quickly and successfully were able to limit the fire from spreading to the home.

Upon arrival, Engines 93 and 94 responded to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof of the motor-home parked on the side yard. The crew from 93 attacked the fire while the crew from 94 ensured the residents of the home were safe.

According to the BC Incident Summary, the motor home was “a total loss”.  The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
