Photos: Antioch Police Arrest One in Saturday Shooting

by ECT

At roughly 2:00 pm Saturday, Antioch Police responded to Cavallo Road for reported gun shots with a victim on the ground.

Upon arrival, Antioch Police quickly detained one man who was the suspected shooter while they could not locate a second subject who was reportedly the victim. The victim reportedly fled behind a home and started hopping fences to escape.

According to a witness, the two men each took a shot at one another for a total of two gun shots. It appears neither shooter was hit in the exchange.

Police on scene did confirm they located a single shell casing but would not say if they recovered a gun.The suspected shooter who was detained also has a warrant for his arrest and has several aliases.

No further details were provided on scene.

Another great job by Antioch PD. Thank you for getting this guy off the street. Another case where Antioch would be clueless about without ECT!

“But I din-do nuffins offsa”

Great article. Great pictures. Can’t deny the facts when it is right in front of your face. And the stubbornly blind and ignorant people will post comments about how these perps are as much a victim as the innocent people who could have been shot by their drug affected marksmanship in 3…2….1…

Why do they the press always have fact twisted, and we just talked directly w/ the so called suspected shooter, none of it happend like they reported cause he wouldn’t tell them any names or what the shooter was wearing,so they put him as (the one) WOW!!! The warrant must of b.s. if he’s back at work today!!!! keep up the good work Antioch PD!!!! HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
