At 3:24 pm Sunday, emergency crews responded to a reported vehicle accident on eastbound Highway 4 near Bailey Road in Bay Point which left an overturned forklift in the road blocking the number 1 lane.
According to radio traffic, fire crews were responding to a technical rescue involving an overturned vehicle along with CHP and AMR. AMR was first on scene and reported a non-injury accident where a fork lift fell off a vehicle pulling it and it overturned. The crash left liquid in the road which crews were forced to clean up.
