If you are free tomorrow between 10:00 to 11:00 am, I encourage you to make your way to A and 10th streets in Antioch where PG&E will present Take Back Antioch with a $12,500 check to support the groups effort to rebuild the City Park that was burned down in September. So far, Take Back Antioch has done a fabulous job in their effort as they have raised $8,500 towards the $25,000 to cover the city’s insurance deductible to get the park rebuilt.

On Sept. 17, the toddler park was set on fire around 10:40 pm and contained about 15-minutes later.  On Sept. 28, Antioch Police arrested a 17-year-old and 14-year-old, both from Antioch, on suspicion of arson in connection with the Sept. 17 fire.
