On Tuesday July 15, the Contra Costa County Animal Services announced they were full and were sheltering a total of 276 cats, 203 dogs, 18 rabbits, 9 birds, 3 rats, 1 guinea pig, & 1 hamster. On Saturday following the 4th of July, they took in 34 cats & 23 dogs!
Today, both Antioch and Contra Costa County Animal Services will also be at Jack London Square for the East Bay SPCA ADOPT-A-THON, Please look for us there, these are some of the pups that will be at the event looking for new homes and here is the link for more info http://www.eastbayspca.org/Adoptathon
If you can foster kittens for us please call 925-335-8327 as we are limited by space. If you can foster a dog, please contact a local rescue group as they are limited by foster families.
