Working off tips provided by the public, Antioch Police Chief Allan Cantando put out a fabulous message today thanking the community for not sitting back and instead being proactive in the search for a man in connection with the attack of an 83-year-old man near Orchard Supply Hardware.
Upon police arrival, the 83 year old victim was found unconscious and bleeding. The victim was taken to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Chief Cantando informed the community via social media that the person of interest in a recent attack of an 83-year-old man has been identified.

Great job to the community. Antioch can still be a wonderful place when we all have a common goal which is to ensure everyone can behave themselves and not act like this stupid kid.

Now lets hope he has priors and the DA recommends charges of an adult and sends him away for a long time.
