Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10789, in partnership with Operation Creekside is sponsoring a “Dinner and the Rock & Roll Magic Show” on August 25th 2012 at the Brentwood Veterans Hall located at 757 1st Street. The show features the classic rock sounds of Biernacki and the Illusion and award winning magicians Ric & Kara Ewing and Douglass the MagicMan.
The event we will be auctioning generously donated items to raise funds for supplies and postage for Operation Creekside. They are still looking for donors who may want to provide a gift certificate, prize, or other contribution to support the event.
Tickets for the event have gone on sale and they will be $20 with doors opening at 4:00 pm and the magic show from 7:30 to 8:30. For more details, click on the flyer below.
According to their website, Operation Creekside has shipped over 5,000 care packages which include boxes of snacks, books, and other items from home as a tangible way of helping pick up the spirits of those deployed.
