At 9:30 pm Wednesday, Concord Police officers were called to the 1100 block of Victory Lane in concord for a report of a robbery and a shooting. Officers arrived and found a man had been shot during a street robbery.
The man was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
The three suspects fled in a Cadillac with the man’s backpack. Shortly thereafter, a Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputy found the Cadillac driving in Bay Point. After a short vehicle pursuit, the Cadillac was involved in a non-injury collision and the three suspects fled on foot.
One of the suspects, a 17-year-old teenager of Bay Point, was arrested by deputies. The other two suspects got away.
