Officials Serve Up Lobster at Assemblyman Frazier’s Fundraiser Event

by ECT

From past experience, most folks already know Assemblyman Jim Frazier can throw a good party regardless of the cause, but at his latest event he shared the spotlight with “celebrity servers” from Contra Costa County as they served attendees at his Second Annual Lobster and Pasta Dinner this past Saturday at the Antioch Community Center.

I honestly enjoyed watching the elected officials run around trying to feed folks. It was a real crack up to see them hustle around the room.  It was a nice touch by Frazier to include them along with the 4H kids who raised over $1,000 in tips for their cause.

Servers included

  • Congressman Jerry McNerney
  • Antioch Mayor Wade Harper
  • Brentwood Mayor Bob Taylor
  • Oakley Mayor Kevin Romick

Councilmembers included

  • Diane Burgis, Oakley
  • Gene Clare, Brentwood
  • Dave Hampton, Rio Vista
  • Ben Johnson, Pittsburg
  • Mary Helen Rocha, Antioch
  • Monica Wilson, Antioch

There were many others who also helped in the back that includes Pittsburg Vice Mayor Sal Evola who helped run the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Congressman Jerry McNerney, Senator Mark DeSaulnier, and Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla all spoke at the event about Jim Frazier and how he was an asset to the District and to Sacramento for the good he is trying to accomplish.

Here are a few photographs of the local elected officials in action and some other shots from the fabulous event.

looked like a fun time. Glad to see Antioch was well represented as celebrity servers.
