The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between October 10-26  according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Animal Calls

  • 10/19 – Foothill Dr.: RP- saw a mountain lion running on the golf course.

Assault

  • 10/11 – First Street: VIC battered by unknown RES.
  • 10/16 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC and unknown RES engaged in verbal altercation on the bus. RES pushed VIC. No injuries.
  • 10/19 – Orchard Dr: VIC stated somebody tried to open her bedroom window. When VIC went outside to investigate, VIC was assaulted by 4 unknown RES’s.
  • 10/21 – Ibis St.: RES engaged in a fight with VIC-1 and VIC-2. Negative Medical.
  • 10/23 – American Ave: RES threw a rock at VIC hitting her in the back of the head, causing injury.
  • 10/24 – Williams Ct.: ARR was trespassing. ARR went into VIC’s residence. ARR punched VIC and broke finger causing bodily injury. ARR to MDF.

 

Auto Recovered

  • 10/11 – Hudson Dr: ARR stopped for a VC violation and found to be driving a stolen vehicle (Stolen from Bart Park and Ride in Antioch). ARR transported to MDF.

Auto Theft

  • 10/12 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole VIC-1’s vehicle. RES also fraudulently used VIC-2’s debit card, which had been inside the stolen vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 10/15 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole VIC’S purse, keys, and vehicle while VIC was shopping. VEH entered into SVS. VEH later located by Antioch PD, removed from SVS and returned to RO.
  • 10/17 – Cottonwood CM: VIC said her vehicle was stolen.
  • 10/19 – Chamomile Ln: RES attempted to hot wire VIC’s vehicle. Occurred 10/17/14 at 1900 hours to 10/19/14 at 0920 hours.
  • 10/22 – Roosevelt Dr: UNK RES stole the VIC’s car from his driveway.

Burglary from Auto

  • 10/10 – Sand Creek Road: RES forced entry into VIC’s locked vehicle by smashing the window, and stole a briefcase. Loss valued at approximately $100.
  • 10/10 – Sand Creek Road: RES forced entry into VIC’s locked vehicle by smashing the window, and stole VIC’s personal property. Loss valued at approximately $550.
  • 10/17 – Curtis Dr: RES entered VIC vehicle by punching the driver’s side door lock. Occurred between
  • 10/16/14 at 1630 hours and 10/17/14 at 0745 hours. Nothing taken.
  • 10/22 – E. Country Club Dr.: Locked vehicle was broken into during the night. Unknown responsible(s) took Stereo equipment and VIC’s wallet.

Burglary – Business

  • 10/16 – Sand Creek: RES pried open front door of business using a crow bar and stole about 45 eyeglass frames. Estimated loss $5000.00.
  • 10/20 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted for petty theft investigation. ARR was found to have burglarized the business, while in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, and had two outstanding arrest warrants for violations of probation.
  • 10/21 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted for shop lifting and was determined to have burglarized the business.
  • 10/22 – Lone Tree Way: On several occasions RES cut the wires to the emergency exit door and stole items. Case under investigation.

Burglary – Residential

  • 10/16 – Heritage Way: RES-1 and RES-2 forced entry into the residence via the side garage door. Various electronic devices and jewelry were stolen. Occurred between 0945-1630.
  • 10/19 – Lillian St.: RES forced entry into VIC’S residence and stole a laptop. RES abandoned laptop upon VIC’S return home, and fled on foot.

Drunk

  • 10/11 – First St: ARR was unable to safely care for himself due to extreme alcohol intoxication. ARR also had a $20,000 23152(a) VC warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/18 – Chestnut St.: ARR contacted unconscious on table located on sidewalk and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/18 – First St: ARR contacted and found to be unable to safely care for self due to alcohol intoxication. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/25 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF

DUI

  • 10/12 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped due to citizen report of driver being drunk. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/16 – Maple St.: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR was DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/18 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR released from the station on a PTA.
  • 10/20 – Balfour: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/23 – Balfour Rd: V-1 rear-ended V-2. P-1 was determined to be DUI.
  • 10/25 – Sycamore Ave: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR refused chemical sample. Search warrant was obtained and granted for blood draw. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/25 – Oak St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Embezzlement

  • 10/22 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole from business over several months. ARR released on PTA.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 10/11 – Sand Creek Rd: RES attempted to purchase items with a counterfeit $100 bill. RP took counterfeit bill and items back from RES.

Fraud

  • 10/20 – Minnesota: VIC reported his credit card information was stolen. Vic reported over $1,200 in fraud charges, all occurring in Chicago, IL.
  • 10/23 – Snapdragon Ct.: RES- used VIC’s credit card information to charge $2,125.52 at a Nordstrom’s in the city of Walnut Creek.

Grand Theft

  • 10/12 – Balfour: Unknown RES stole electric scooter. Total loss approximately $1,500.
  • 10/17 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 each stole an iPhone and fled the scene.
  • 10/22 – Roosevelt Dr: RES stole items from VIC’s truck bed.
  • 10/22 – Sand Creek Rd: VIC opened his wallet to give ARR change. ARR grabbed $30.00 from VIC’s open wallet and walked away. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 10/23 – Grovewood LP: Unknown responsible(s) stole a catalytic converter. Occurred from 10/22/2014, at approximately 1800 hours and 10/23/2014, at approximately 1045 hours.
  • 10/24 – Moreau Way: Unknown RES stole catalytic converter. Total loss approximately $4,200.

H&S

  • 10/10 – Lawrence Ln: ARR contacted during a SUSC and found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/15 – City Park: ARR was contacted for a VC violation and was found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/19 –Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted walking in the area. ARR found to be under the influence of CNS stimulant.

Narcotic Violations

  • 10/15 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.s
  • 10/16 – Nancy St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be in possession of steroids. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 10/20 – First Street: Arr stopped for CVC violation. ARR in possession of suspected Meth. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/25 – Lone Tree Way: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted during a domestic dispute. ARR-1 found to be in possession of tar heroin and ARR-2 had a felony warrant. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.

Other Violations

  • 10/17 – Diablo Way: RES threatened to slice VIC’s throat while brandishing a knife. RES fled prior to police arrival.

Parole/Probation Violations

  • 10/11 – First Street: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were attempting to fight with unknown patrons. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were determined to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for themselves. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 10/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and resisted while being taken into custody. ARR was found to be on felony probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/25 – Balfour: ARR stole beer and left the store without paying. ARR was later contacted and identified. Beer returned to store, ARR to MDF.

Penal Code Violations

  • 10/11 – Castellina Dr.: ARR was contacted and was believed to have a cite-release misdemeanor warrant for 20002 VC. ARR resisted arrest by not allowing himself to be handcuffed. The warrant was confirmed and ARR was transported to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 10/10 – Lone Tree way: RES stole plumbing supplies.
  • 10/10 – Second St.: Unknown RES convinced VIC to send them $5,000 in gift cards and demanded they send $5,500 more.
  • 10/11 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest for petty theft. He was found to have an outstanding no-cite warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/11 – Brooks St.: Unknown responsible(s) stole a converter off a truck.
  • 10/11 – Sand Creek Rd: RES concealed two pans inside his shirt. RP confronted RES and recovered pans. RES left store without being identified.
  • 10/12 – Cortona way: Unknown responsible(s) stole a front license plate and replaced it with another.
  • 10/15: Lone Tree way: RES exited Kohls without paying for items. Was chased by RP who was able to get RES purse with stolen items. RES was able to get away. Total loss/recovered was $108.48.
  • 10/16 – Legend Lane: Unknown responsible(s) stole a stone rabbit statue from victim’s front yard. Occurred between 10/15/2014, at approximately 1100 hours and 10/16/2014, at approximately 1700 hours.
  • 10/17 – Bountiful Way: Unknown RES stole approximately $330 from her residence.
  • 10/18 – Wassen Ct.: Wallet taken from an unlocked vehicle overnight. Loss $40.
  • 10/18 – Lone Tree Way: RES(s) took 12 medical uniform blouses. Loss Estimated at $250.
  • 10/18 – Peace Ln: RES stole prescription meds prior to moving out of residence.
  • 10/19 – Stonehaven: Unk RES entered VIC’s unlocked parked vehicle and removed property. Occurred between 0045-0055
  • 10/21 – Lone Tree Way: RES- stole VIC’s cell phone from his unlocked football locker. Phone valued at $499.
  • 10/22 – Anjou Pw: RES stole VIC’s doormat. VIC has since filed restraining order on RES. VIC wants no further action on theft of doormat.
  • 10/22 – Sand Creek: RES-1 and RES-2 stole VIC’s pet rooster while he was left unattended in the rear of the business. VIC estimated the loss at $30.00.
  • 10/22 – Griffith Ln: Bicycle taken from in front of the Water Park. Occurred 10/22/14 between approximately 1530 hours and 1800 hours.

Robbery

  • 10/12 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered business, concealed merchandise and as he was leaving the business was confronted by loss prevention. RES brandished a knife at VIC and left the business with merchandise.
  • 10/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR took items from Kohl’s by force/fear. He fled but was later detained. ARR was determined to have an arrest warrant and was booked into county jail for the warrant.

Vandalism

  • 10/10 – Brentwood Blvd: RES threw a rock at VIC’S windshield.
  • 10/10 – Homecoming Way: VIC’s window shot with a BB gun.
  • 10/10 – Sand Creek Rd: RES broke VIC’s vehicle window. No evidence of a theft, or attempted theft.
  • 10/19 – Mesquite Ct.: RES- broke a chair in VIC’s front yard and drove on her lawn.
  • 10/20 – Orchid Dr: VIC FOUND 2 NAILS IN HER VEH’S TIRE.
  • 10/20 – Eclipse Pl: Unidentified RES threw a rock at VIC’s house causing minor damage to the stucco. Total cost to repair is approximately $100.
  • 10/21 – Balfour: RES used an unknown sharp object and vandalized VIC’s vehicle.
  • 10/21 – O’Hara Ave: Two brick pillars were vandalized with spray paint.
  • 10/22 – Balfour Rd: Maintenance field fence was vandalized during the night. Estimated damage, and cost to repair $30.
  • 10/24 – Sand Creek: VIC’s vehicle keyed by unknown RES.

Warrant

  • 10/12 – Second St.: VEH license plate had a warrant attached. ARR contacted as driver of the vehicle. ARR confirmed to have a $10,000 no-cite 23152(a) VC warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/12 – Balfour Rd: ARR found to have a cite-release warrant (Antioch PD). ARR released on a PTA.
  • 10/16 – Second St.: ARR contacted and found to have a no bail warrant. ARR transported to Juvenile Hall.
  • 10/25 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted sleeping while highly intoxicated in his parked vehicle. ARR was determined to have a no bail felony warrant for DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/25 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found to have a cite releasable warrant. ARR released on a signed PTA.

Weapons Violations

  • 10/11 – Balfour Rd: VEH stopped for vehicle code violations. ARR was found in possession of a loaded firearm. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/12 – Beatrice St.: ARR was stopped for VC violations. ARR was determined to be a convicted felon carrying two loaded pistols. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/24 – Sunset Rd: ARR was found to be in possession of a concealed firearm in his vehicle. ARR was released on a PTA.
