October 1-9: Brentwood Police Logs

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between October 1-9  according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault:

  • 10/3 – Lone Tree Way: VIC-1 and RES engaged in physical altercation regarding a parking spot. V-3’s vehicle was damaged as a result of altercation.
  • 10/7 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was pushed down at funeral in August 2014. VIC was uncooperative, and would not provide any info about RES.

Auto Theft

  • 10/5 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 10/8 – Fairview: VIC’s parked her vehicle in the her driveway on 10/8/2014 at midnight. Upon walking outside the following day at 1130 hours, VIC discovered her vehicle was stolen. Note – Vehicle was reported stolen out of Antioch PD. The vehicle was parked in front of address on Homecoming Way where another vehicle was reported stolen.
  • 10/8 – Indiana Ave: RES stole VIC’s vehicle. Occd 10/6/14.
  • 10/9 – Roadrunner St.: Vehicle stolen during the night and recovered unoccupied by CHP-Contra Costa.
  • 10/9 – Lone Tree Way: VIC left the keys in the ignition of her vehicle and briefly entered the business. VIC exited the business and discovered her vehicle had been stolen. VIC’s vehicle entered into SVS as stolen

Burglary – Business

  • 10/3 – Second St.: RES-1 and RES-2 used a key to unlock the liquor cabinet and stole numerous bottles of alcohol. (Occurred 9/26/14 between 2200-2210 hours)
  • 10/6 – Balfour: INV’s entered Safeway with large duffel bag, filled with baby formula. Approximate value-$650.
  • 10/9 – Brentwood Blvd: RES cut perimeter fence and entered VIC business yard. RES stole approximately 50 wheels and tires and a quad. Occ’d 9/29-10/9.

Burglary – Residential

  • 10/1 – Ranchwood Dr.: Unidentified RES entered VIC’s residence and stole jewelry and game consoles. Total loss is under investigation.

Drunk

  • 10/4 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were observed engaging in physical altercations and refused to leave the area. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were found to be too intoxicated to care for themselves. ARR’s to MDF.
  • 10/4 – First St.: ARR was contacted and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR released to AMR.
  • 10/5 – Crocket Ct.: ARR contacted standing in street and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/7 – Lone Tree Way: ARR- was contacted after he was seen staggering down the street. ARR- was determined to be intoxicated and unable to care for his own safety. ARR- to MDF
  • 10/9 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was challenging other subjects to fight and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for his own safety. ARR to MDF.

DUI

  • 10/1 – Sand Creek: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI with felony priors, suspended for DUI, and in possession of marijuana. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/3 – Grant St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 10/4 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be DUI. ARR released on signed PTA.
  • 10/4 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was found to be driving under the influence. A search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of cocaine. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/4 – Chestnut St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI while on DUI probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/4 – Caper Dr.: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

  • 10/9 – Balfour – Unknown RES used counterfeit $100 bill.

Embezzlement

  • 10/1 – Second St.: ARR embezzled money from US Bank. ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest and released on a PTA.

Grand Theft

  • 10/8 – Villa Tr: Catalytic converter taken off of VEH. Occurred between approximately 8/25/14 and 8/29/14.

H&S Violation

  • 10/3 – Windmeadows Dr.: ARR was contacted and determined to be under the influence of CNS stimulant and placed under arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/6 – Orchard Dr: ARR was found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 10/7 – Sherwood Dr: Conducted traffic enforcement stop on VEH-1. ARR-1 appeared to be under influence of controlled substance. ARR-2 cite and released for possession of paraphernalia.

Misc Information

  • 10/9 – McClarren Rd: INV is cultivating marijuana in her backyard and is out of compliance with her medical recommendation.

Narcotics Violations

  • 10/5 – Norma Ln: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were located inside a parked vehicle. ARR-1 was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and ARR-2 had a felony burglary warrant. ARRs to MDF.
  • 10/7 – Central Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violations and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR also in possession of methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/9 – Rosegate: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found in possession of cocaine. ARR to MDF

Petty Theft

  • 10/1 – Rice St.: ARR was prowling on VIC’s front porch and stole shoes which were later recovered. ARR was located a short distance away in possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole several items from business. RP was unable to identify ARR, so officer was called to scene. ARR found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF. Total estimated loss/ recovered $149.94.
  • 10/1 – Oakville Ct,: Wallet was taken from vehicle on 9/7/14, at an unknown time and location.
  • 10/2 – Cypress St.: Victim arrived home after being out of town and discovered mail box open and no mail in the box. Victim has email receipts for delivery of three packages valued at $30 total.
  • 10/6 – Shady Willow Ln: Rear plate taken from VEH. Occurred between approximately 10/5/14, 0030 hours and 10/6/14, 1540 hours.
  • 10/7 – Augustine Dr.: VIC was scammed out of $950 when she was told she would be arrested for nonpayment of back taxes from someone claiming to be from the US Treasury Department, Department of Legal Affairs.
  • 10/8 – Sand Creek Rd: Apple iPhone left on counter at Subway; taken by unknown responsible. Occurred 10/8/14 between approximately 1730 hours and 1745 hours.
  • 10/9 – Second St.: RES stole groceries from the business. Total loss $466.
  • 10/9 – Balfour: RES stole merchandise from business and fled the scene.

Probation/Parole Violations

  • 10/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found to be in violation of probation and under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.

Prowler

  • 10/4 – Silverton Way: RES1 entered VIC’s backyard after ringing and knocking on the front door. RES1 was shortly after stopped with RES2 in the area.

Robbery

  • 10/7 – Lone Tree Way: RES1 entered business and concealed store property within her purse. RES1 was confronted by Loss Prevention agent(LP) outside the store. LP restrained RES1. RES2 charged at LP and threatened him with physical violence. LP released RES1. RES1 and RES2 fled in a black mid 2000’s 4 door Toyota with …
  • 10/9 – San Jose Ave: VIC alleged RES-1 and RES-2 brandished a firearm and a knife, then forcibly took VIC’s backpack and iPad. Approximately $514 loss. VIC was not entirely forthcoming, and became uncooperative when confronted with inconsistencies in his statement.

Vandalism

  • 10/1 – Treadwell Ct.: VICs vehicle and residence defaced with several food items. VIC later reported that two of her lawn lights were damaged during the incident.
  • 10/2 – Corte Vista: Unknown substance was put on VIC-1 and VIC-2’s vehicles. Unknown substance removed and damaged the paint from the vehicles.
  • 10/2 – Wildflower: RES spray painted on the wall on the north west corner of Wildflower Loop at the south entrance to Garin Park.
  • 10/2 – Diamond Spring: Unknown RES dented VIC’s vehicle. Total loss approximately $1,000.
  • 10/2 – Downie Point Dr: RES used a BB gun to vandalize VIC’s window, causing approximately $300 in damage.
  • 10/2 – Treadwell Ct.: I was dispatched to Treadwell CT. for a report of vandalism. RES threw eggs at RPs house and broke a lawn light, approximate value of $50.
  • 10/3 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES vandalized VIC’s vehicle. Total loss approximately $4,500.
  • 10/5 – Dupre: Unknown RES dented the driver side rear door of vehicle. Total loss approximately $1,000.
  • 10/5 – Lone Tree Way: VIC vehicle front tires slashed by unknown responsible while he was inside business shopping.
  • 10/6 – Amber Ln: Two front windows were shot with a BB gun at an unknown time.
  • 10/7 – Central Blvd: “Brentwood Police Parking Only” sign was knocked over and damaged.
  • 10/8 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted behind Dollar General. ARR was observed vandalizing property and was taken into custody for same. ARR to MDF.
  • 10/8 – Moss Hollow Ct.: OCC’D AT THE ABOVE – JUST OCC’D – RP HEARD GLASS BREAKING – FOUND HIS VEH WINDOWS WERE SHOT OUT BY BB’S – NO RESP SEEN OR HEARD DRIVING AWAY Supplement :VEH FRONT WINDOW, REAR WINDOW AND TWO PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS SHOT WITH BB GUN. REAR WINDOW AND TWO PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS SHATTERED. FRONT WINDOW …
  • 10/8 – Sand Creek Road: RES- stolen VIC’s purse containing approximately $590 from her parked vehicle. (Theft from Auto)

Warrant Arrest

  • 10/3 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and found to have two cite-release misdemeanor warrants. ARR released on PTA.
  • 10/5 – Dupre Way: Unknown RES dented the driver side rear door of vehicle. Total loss approximately $1,000.
  • 10/6 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR had a parolee at large warrant. ARR to MDF.
