On October 6, K & Co Family Jewelers will be hosting “Whiskey & Watches” event in Brentwood.

According to Richard Neciuk, owner of K & Co, Watches and Whiskey rank right up there with cooking as the way to a man’s heart. That’s why K & Co Family Jewelers is doing it again, they’ve brought together the comradery and attention to detail that pairs with the meticulous pallets who enjoy the taste of Whiskey with avid watch enthusiasts.

“For years jewelers across the United States have been putting on engaging events meant to draw in their clientele to come in and enjoy shopping in a more relaxed atmosphere,” says Neciuk. “It is for the this reason that K & Co is inviting watch and whiskey enthusiasts from the expert level to the novice to come out for one night and enjoy a glass of Whiskey while learning a bit more about the family that makes up K & Co Family Jewelers and the watch brands that helped shape the United States of America.”

The event will showcase all of K & Co’s current watch offerings as well as; watch giveaway’s, unique prize giveaways, factory representatives on hand to answer your questions, and more.

According to Neciuk, one of our clients said, “I’ve never had this much fun shopping for a watch”. Other customers took this opportunity to bring in their significant other and get a wish list of ideas for the upcoming holiday season.

Neciuk explained that from the early days of country discussions of engineering and precision have been at the forefront of many distinguished gatherings. Men and women have enjoyed sipping on a glass of American Bourbon Whiskey while sharing their opinions of the latest and greatest American made products.

whiskey-and-watches-1Ball Watch Co was one of those products. From as early as 1891 the Ball Watch Co was on the cutting edge of watch manufacturing and precision. This was the brand that coined the phrase, “your on the Ball”, when referring to the your punctuality and accuracy on the US Railroad. Webster Clay Ball was the enlisted as Chief Time Inspector of the Lake Shore Railroad. He would go on to establish the timekeeping system that reduced fatal train injuries on the US Railroad and eventually his time pieces became the standard for precision timekeeping on US Railways.

Ball watch continues to update its offerings in the 21st century with features such as; Tritium gas cell technology, anti-magnetic, and anti-shock cases and patented precision watch parts that lead the industry again. K & Co will feature an extensive collection from Ball along with one of their factory reps to further educate you on one of the most revered watches among avid watch collectors.

Since 1875, when founder Joseph Bulova opened his store on Maiden Lane in downtown Manhattan, Bulova has remained true to his legacy—mastering the classic art of timekeeping while always embracing the future. A Bulova watch is not only a timepiece; it is a piece of history. K & Co will feature the Bulova Moonwatch a replica of the watch worn by the star commander on the Apollo 15 mission as well as the new Bulova Curve Chronographs, the world’s first curved movement chronograph. Beautiful and unique watches ready to go home with you today.

“It doesn’t matter whether you come to simply learn a bit about watches, your in the market for a new watch, or you’d like to share opinions on Whiskey with other fellow enthusiasts,” said Neciuk. “K & Co invites you to come join us for a fun evening, who knows you may even go home with one of watch prizes.”
