Oakley: Vehicle Goes Through Fence at O’Hara Park Middle School

At 8:55 am Friday, Oakley Police responded to a vehilce that had went through a fence at O’Hara Park Middle School on W. Cypress Road in Oakley.

Oakley Police, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and AMR all responded to the incident that left one man injured. No kids were out on the field at the time of the incident and the driver was apparently driving under the influence of a controlled substance (possibly medication of some sorts) where he made a right hand turn from O’Hara onto W. Cypress.

According to radio traffic, the driver also may have been involved in a hit and run accident in Antioch earlier in the morning.
