Oakley: Subject Detained by Sheriff’s Deputies After Road Rage Incident

by ECT

Shortly before 9:30 am Tuesday, Contra Costa County Sheriffs and Oakley Police responded to a report of road rage where a subject tried to run another vehicle off the roadway.

Sheriff’s deputies and Oakley police responded and made the vehicle stop on O’Hara Avenue across from Fire Station 93 where they detained a man and searched his vehicle.

Sheriff’s deputies issued a cite and release.

Editors note:  The subject detained did show remorse for what he did and was very apologetic to officers.  According to a witness, the subject got mad when the person was going below the speed limit and passed them. The subject then tried to run the other vehicle off the roadway.

They should have cited him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. If it was a cop he tried to run off the road, you know they would have hit him with as many charges as they could think up.

OK cop hater. Did you get a ticket this week? I’m sure the elements of the crime were not there. Don’t be stupid with your posts.
