Oakley: Short Pursuit Results in Arrest of Hit and Run Suspect

On Friday, August 17 at 10:53 am, the Oakley Police Department responded to a report of a hit and run vehicle crash that resulted in a short pursuit and an arrest.

According to police, a victim of a hit and run Brentwood Blvd and Lone Tree called had reported that he was following a suspect vehicle that just crashed into him.

The victim advised law enforcement that he was at O’Hara and Brownstone heading into the City of Oakley. Oakley Police found the suspect vehicle traveling North on O’Hara at Laurel, where a pursuit was initiated. The suspect was seen at one point driving through a field in an attempt to elude Law Enforcement.

The pursuit ended at Main St and Douglas where the suspect was taken into custody at a residence to the rear of Los Pancho’s Market.

According to police, the suspect has been arrested several times, including multiple DUI’s in the past several months.

If he was arrested several times, why wasn’t the idiot still locked up? As Barney Fife said, “lock him up and throw away the key”.

Most likely he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN, therefore, locking that person up is not in the California Constitution. After all ILLEGAL ALIENS have more rights than US BORN CITIZENS!
