The Oakley Police Department announced Wednesday that four-suspects have been arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred last week.

The incident occurred in the morning of Friday, January 8 at a home on Locke Ct where suspects entered the residence and held the victims at gunpoint for approximately 30-minutes while they ripped apart the home. Three guitars and cash were stolen.

According to Oakley Police Sgt. Perata, Oakley detectives had been working hard on leads trying to track down the suspects.

Sgt. Perata stated the suspects were located in the City of Emeryville and four people were arrested. Police located the suspects with more stolen property, two stolen firearms and were booked in the Martinez Detention Facility on multiple charges including kidnapping and robbery.

All suspects were African American male adults with one out of San Leandro, two out of Oakland, and one out of Antioch.

The suspects identities have not yet been released as police believe they may be responsible for several home invasions in the East Bay and are working with other police agencies.

All of their bail has been set at $1.2 million.

No further information was released.

This is why I love living in Oakley, our police are the best and catch the criminals unlike other cities. I love our police force and can’t wait for them to catch the next criminal who tries this here. Take it to Antioch!

These criminals are dumb for trying this in Oakley. Had they done this in Antioch they would still be living in the victim’s house, cooking a feast, smoking their weed, and having parties. About 20 days later is when the police will have the time to get to the house.

Remember… Antioch is where the criminals are protected and the garbage elected.

It is a criminal haven here in Antioch… If you are a thug, rapist, or murderer, you will be worshipped and given free clothes, housing, food and healthcare.

Could someone please elaborate on this incident? How did the robbers gain entry? How had they chosen this target? What specific security measures are homeowners advised to undertake? What procedures and security equipment would have actually prevented this crime?
