Oakley: Harvest Festival a Hit For Oakley Youths

The City of Oakley hosted its annual kid friendly Harvest Festival Saturday which included a costume parade and pie eating contest. The city also brought in a jumpy which is always highly entertaining for kids.

This years event appeared to have a much larger parade than years past while Mayor Kevin Romick took participants around the Civic Center Plaza.  The pie eat contest had four age groups and pies were supplied by Black Bear Diner.

Vice Mayor Randy Pope was in attendance with his kids, while council members Diane Burgis and Doug Hardcastle were also in attendance.
