As of Sunday night, the cause of the fire was undetermined, however, the ECCFPD believes it may have started from a candle after power to the home was recently shut off.

According to neighbors, the woman living in the home was arrested several days ago and the home had previously been red tagged.

A total of six-fire engines were required (24-firefighters), four-chief officers and a fire investigator. Crews were on scene 5 hrs 30 minutes.
