Oakley Code Enforcement Closes Out 56 Cases Since June 2

The City of Oakley Code Enforcement team has been busy after they have received a total of 142 new calls and emails to check for potential violations since June 2. In response, 215 total site inspections have occurred and 94 new cases were opened.

Code Enforcement has worked to close out 56 cases while numerous correction notices were issued.

Cases have included:

  • 19-administrative citations for weeds, parking on laws and nonoperational vehicles
  • A property on Redwood Drive was tagged for no water service
  • A property on Norcross was Red Tagged for living in an RV trailer
  • Roosters
  • Basketball Hoop on the Street
  • Parking on an unimproved surface
  • one property on Walnut Grove Court was Red Tagged for no electric service
  • one property on Amador Ave was Red Tagged for living in an RV trailer
  • five cases of graffiti that were quickly abated by Code Enforcement and one case on a sound wall was abated with the help of Public Works.

Way to go! Antioch has a lot to learn. Just tagging cars parked on lawns would bring a small fortune.
