So frustrating. This happens on Cypress every six months or so. The city of Oakley refuses to make the road safer by waiting until developer’s are forced to fix up the road to build houses. Our residents aren’t worth the cost of a safe, divided, sidewalked, cypress.

I Agree Sean! Even if just as simple as a real PAVED bike lane. The gravel just does not cut it.

FYI: I drive down this road every night when it is almost pitch black, If you do bike or walk down this road at night use reflectors, flashlights, or clothes that can be seen. The amount of people that wear black and cant be seen until a car length ahead is amazing.

One last comment: Does anyone know if the bicyclist is ok??
