by ECT

With the easing of the water restrictions by the State and by the Diablo Water District, the City of Oakley Parks Division will now be able to activate its water spray play features for use during the summer. The tentative opening date will be Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

A small water spray feature is located at Creekside Park, and a multiple water spray feature is located at Nunn-Wilson Family Park. The park water spray features will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., continuing through Labor Day, September 5, 2016, and then closing.

“We are very pleased to be able to have these fun water spray features available once again for the community. They are free and provide great fun for the kids, especially on hot summer days,” said Oakley Mayor Kevin Romick.
