Everyone is so sad. Aww. Yup, sit there and be sad or do something about it by demanding the city to make traffic safer so this does not happen again. Seems like we read about a serious car accident every week in far East county.

Or do nothing and be sad all day. 🙁

I am horrified by this whole thing. I cant imagine the pain that all parties must be feeling. I an a veey close friend to the driver. I GAURANTEE HE WASNT SPEEDING ( i have NEVER seen him speed) he is a good father a great friend with a huge heart. Who drives a commercial vehicle for a living. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE OF US DRIVING THE CAR INCOLVED THAT NIGHT!!!! He is now in a living hell sobbing none stop. He haa such a kind loving heart all he can think about is the young boy and his parents. I too am a mother i cabt begin to imagine how gut wrenching it must be. Maybe the parents and the driver can help each other heal. Maybe they can turn this horrific accident into something more positive and educate these young teens who think. They are invinsible( we all do at that age) about the dangers and risks out on the road. I am praying for everyone connected to these two families as well as the families cause were all affected. As are the witnesses. Rip

You’re right, the real victim here is the driver. Maybe the driver and the grieving family can have dinner at the new Mel’s restaurant in Antioch to help “heal” each other.
