Oakley: 1 Airlifted to Local Hospital After Vehicle Crashes into Tree

The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a vehicle into a tree at 3:40 am Friday that required the use of a medical helicopter transport.

The incident occurred at Sellers Road and Cypress Avenue in Oakley where crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle into a tree with one person trapped. The patient was transported to a local hospital for additional medical treatment.

The incident is under investigation by the Oakley Police Department.
