The National Weather Service says Sunday will be another very warm day for inland areas. Potential Heat Risks are expected to be in the moderate category once again for some inland areas. Heat Risks will decrease in all areas by Monday when widespread cooling occurs.
On Saturday, it was very warm inland with widespread highs in the 90s to around 100. Comparing today’s temps to average: some coastal areas were near average, but inland areas were as much as 20 degrees warmer than average. Continued very warm inland on Sunday; slightly cooler coast
