Due to the high number of mosquitoes and the detection of West Nile virus in the area, the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District will be fogging by truck to control adult mosquitoes on the evening of Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the following area:
Discovery Bay
The area to be treated is bordered on the north by Point of Timber Road; by Fertado Lane on the west; by Marsh Creek Road on the south, and by Blake Court, Coleridge Way, Frost Way, Wilde Court and Bixler Road combined to form the eastern edge.

Yes, “flogging” was used intentionally in the headline originally as a play on words for fun… guess no one got the joke. We have since updated the headline back to “fogging”.

flog (flg, flôg)
tr.v. flogged, flog·ging, flogs
1. To beat severely with a whip or rod.
2. Informal To publicize aggressively: flogging a new book.
[Perhaps from alteration of Latin flagellre; see flagellate.]
flogger n.
Hmmm. I think I just rather see the fogged for the kill instead. 😉
Just Saying.
Trying to play on words… I guess it didn’t work.
