At 9:11 am Friday morning, emergency crews responded to a two-car vehicle accident on James Donlon Way across from Royal Links Circle that left one car rolled over and on the sidewalk. The incident had multiple victims but injuries were considered “minor” according to Antioch Police on scene.
Victims were able to free themselves on their own prior to crews arriving on scene with police doing a nice job with traffic control as the incident shut down one lane on James Donlon.
A second vehicle was damaged in the incident, but had side damage as apparently the two vehicles touched. Two tow truck were on scene around 9:40 and the incident should be cleared by 10:30 am.

How fast do you need to go to rollover your car on James Donlon? Limit is what 35mph?
I was going 30 mph & the car had pulled out in front of me.
Hope everyone will be OK. Thanks AGAIN to APD, tow truck drivers and Fire for their hard work.
SLOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Couldn’t agree more…
and put your phone/makeup/burger/whatever away. Maybe actually hold on to the wheel, and keep an eye out.
I was fully focused on the road & the other driver pulled out & then stopped. Thank you for your concern.
I was driving by right when this happened, the flipped car was doing well over 60mph and hit the other car trying to race around the turn in the #1 lane and when they bounched off the other car and spun out they flipped onto the sidewalk. There are streets in antioch where the cops just dont patrol and these stupid MF’rs know it and act like they are on a drag strip!
I was going 30 mph. Thanks for your concern.
I was the passenger in the car and we had just turned on to JD from near cross street-maybe made it to 30mph if we were lucky. Car pull ed out directly in front of us. But thanks for the estimate. Thank god we were not seriously hurt.
Did you give your statement to the police?
Wow! I think it’s a miracle that no one was seriously injured in this accident. Thank God!
No, it’s 40 mph, which is ridiculous, the people driving on it go well over 50 most of the time.
I was going 30mph & do appreciate your kind reminder unlike others posting.
Mc.Grumpy Unfortunately Antioch no longer has a traffic division. Hopefully it will soon and get these speeders and red light runners.
