The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between May 23 through June 5  according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Animal Call

  • 5/23 – Chatham Pl: RP’s dog was in the rear yard and ate a poison pellet. Unknown how the poison came to be in the yard.

Assault

  • 5/25 – First St.ARR-1 and ARR-2 engaged in a physical altercation outside of Uptown Bar. ARR-1 was arrested for battery and ARR-2 was arrested for public intoxication. ARR’s to MDF.
  • 6/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR punched VIC in the face. ARR released on PTA. VIC to kaiser for minor injury.
  • 6/2 – Second St.: ARR-kicked campus security and attempted to choke a teacher. ARR- transported to Juvenile Hall and booked on 243.6PC (x2) and 71PC.

Auto Theft

  • 5/27 – Havenwood Ave: RES stole VIC vehicle from parking lot. The vehicle was left running. VIC vehicle was entered into SVS.
  • 5/28 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’s vehicle was stolen from parking lot. Occ’d between 1200 and 1600 hours. Recovered in Antioch at 2000 hours.
  • 5/29 – Brentwood Blvd: RP has been unable to account for fleet vehicle since 11/2012 but believes it is in So Cal based on parking tickets its been getting.
  • 5/30 – Broderick Dr.: VIC left VEH running. VIC saw RES steal VEH and flee the scene.
  • 5/30 – Rosegate Ave: Air compressor and drill taken from open garage. Occurred between approximately 5/24/14 0900 hrs and 5/30/14 1500 hrs.
  • 6/2 – Sand Creek Rd: An unidentified responsible broke VIC’s rear window and removed a tan briefcase containing a grey Dell brand laptop. Total estimated loss: $1500
  • 6/2 – W. Country Club Dr: VIC’S camper shell opened and tools stolen (Occ’d 05/30-06/02).

Burglary – Auto

  • 5/30 – Sand Creek:Front passenger side window was smashed and VIC’s GPS was taken.
  • 5/31 – Summerset Dr: VEH door lock punched, battery disconnected. Shoes, backpack and miscellaneous clothes taken from VEH. Occurred 5/31/14 between approximately 0745 hrs and 1215 hrs.

Burglary – Business

  • 5/23 – Lone Tree Way: ARR entered with intent to steal.
  • 5/25 – Lone Tree Way: 4 ARRs entered KOHL’S and burglarized the business. All ARRs transported to MDF. Total stolen/recovered value $625.91
  • 5/26 – Second St.: ARR’s were conastcted for loitering IFO Burger King. They were found to be in possession of stolen items that they admitted to having stolen from Safeway. The items were returned and both ARR’s were issued juvenile affidavits
  • 5/28 – Balfour Rd: RES climbed over fence broke lock on VIC business shed. Nothing stolen.
  • 5/28 – Balfour Rd: SUS(s) broke lock off of storage container in front of business, entered and stole four bicycles. Unknown if anything else taken.
  • 5/29 – Balfour Rd: RES entered via the roof. No items were taken.
  • 5/30 – Armstrong Ct.: Motorcycle stolen from closed shed in backyard. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 5/30 – Lone Tree Way: RES forced entry into VIC’s storage container and stole items. Occd 3/25/14 to 4/8/14.
  • 6/2 – Atherton Blvd: RES- forced his way into the residence by prying open a side door to the garage. RES then stole approximately $400 in change and an unknown amount of jewelry.
  • 6/3 – O’Hara Ave: Two unknown RES forced entry into the business via lock punch and stole car stereo equipment and cash register. Occ’d 0427 to 0452 hours.

Burglary – Residential

  • 5/23 – Chelmsford Dr.: RES stole two edge trimmers and an orange thirty gallon air compressor on wheels from VIC’s open garage on 5/22/14 between 1630-1700 hours.
  • 5/23 – Woodsong Ln: RES entered open garage and stole orange and black Rigid Tool Bag and Tools on 5/23/14 between 1130 and 1300 hours.
  • 5/26 – Mission Fields Ln: Unknown RES entered residence through an unlocked front window. RES removed VIC’s property. Total loss estimated at $19,156.
  • 5/27 – Balfour Rd.: RES entered residence and stole miscellaneous tools.
  • 5/28 – Claremont Dr.: RES took VIC’s bicycle from VIC’s open garage while VIC was inside her residence. VIC’s bicycle was recovered by BPD on an unrelated case and was returned to VIC.
  • 5/29 – Demartini Ln: RES- made entry to the residence by unknown means and stole $800 dollars worth of electronics.
  • 5/30 – Mulberry Pl: RES pried two exterior doors to residence and made entry into garage. No items stolen. Occd 0600-2100 on 5/29.
  • 5/30 – Rosegate Ave: Air compressor and drill taken from open garage. Occurred between approximately 5/24/14 0900 hrs and 5/30/14 1500 hrs.
  • 5/30 – Second St.: RES broke into VIC’s locked vehicle and stole items.
  • 5/30 – St. Augustine Dr.: UNK RES attempted to enter VIC’s house. No damage to house and nothing stolen.
  • 5/31 – Washington Dr.: ARR-1 and ARR-2 entered open garage and stole mountain bike. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were released to their parents on Juvenile Affidavits.
  • 5/31 – Atherton Blvd: VIC said someone tried to force open his front door within the last few days.
  • 6/1 – Hampton Ct.: RES entered porch window screen and entered residence. RES appears to have been squatting in residence and exited front door. Nothing appears to have been taken.

DUI

  • 5/24 – Sand Creek: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was DUI and transported to MDF. ARR vehicle parked on scene.
  • 5/24 – O’Hara Ave: ARR determined to be operating motorcycle DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/25 – Fairview Ave: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 5/25 – Second St: ARR was involved in a traffic collision. ARR was determined to be intoxicated. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/26 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was stopped by off-duty Martinez PD officer. ARR determined to be DUI and on DUI probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/26 – Lone Tree Way: RP reported ARR possibly DUI. ARR contacted and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/27 – Walnut Blvd: P-1 was driving V-1 and lost consciousness after smoking “spice”. V-1 subsequently struck a guard rail. P-1 was determined to be under the influence and was taken into custody. P-1 was transported to MDF and V-1 was stored
  • 5/30 – Walnut Blvd: Vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR was DUI and on felony probation for 245(a)(1) PC. ARR to MDF. Vehicle stored.
  • 5/30 – Walnut Blvd: Vehicle stopped for CVC violations. ARR was DUI and on felony probation for 245(a)(1) PC. ARR to MDF. Vehicle stored.
  • 5/30 – Walnut Blvd: ARR was stopped going the wrong way on the roadway and determined to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/5 – San Jose Dr.: ARR was stopped for VC violations and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

 

Grand Theft

  • 5/24 – Sand Creek: 2 RES entered Victoria Secret and stole merchandise. Estimated Loss was $997.00.
  • 5/29 – Cayenne Ct.: RES stole the catalytic converter to his Dodge Ram truck.
  • 5/29 – Sunset Rd: RES stole the fork from a John Deere skid steer.
  • 6/4 – Sand Creek Rd: RES’s stole approximately $3 to $4 thousand dollars worth of sunglasses and fled the scene.
  • 6/4 – Sand Creek: RES’s stole approximately 40 pairs of sunglasses and fled the area.

Kidnapping

  • 6/4 – Grant St.:ARR’s are biological parents of VIC, who lost custody of her 2 years ago. They attempted to lure her to go with them. ARR’s to MDF. Vehicle towed/stored.

Misc. Information

  • 6/3 – Desert Gold Tr: CALTRANS weed abatement goats got loose in the neighborhood. Report for documentation.
  • 6/4 – Balfour Rd: Documentation of INV’s aggressive behavior towards officers.

Narcotics Violation

  • 5/23 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was stopped for VC violation. During a consent search of ARR’s vehicle, officers located 14.6 ounces of Marijuana.
  • 5/25 – N Estates Dr.: ARR was sitting in the passenger seat of 2000 white Acura Integra. ARR consented to search. ARR was found to be in possession of controlled substance in violation of 11350(a) H&S and 11377 (a) H&S. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 5/28 – Woodfield: A search warrant was served at the listed address regarding a marijuana cultivation. Four subjects were taken into custody as a result of the investigation.
  • 5/28 – Second St.: ARR contacted while on searchable probation. ARR found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine and a stolen bike. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/29 – Orchard Dr. – ARR was contacted regarding an outstanding BPD warrant for 212 PC. While being taken into custody ARR was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/30 – Sand Creek: ARR fled from police while committing a BTMC violation, and was later located. During a search of the associated vehicle, ARR was found in possession of 2.5 ounces of marijuana for sale.
  • 6/3 – Cornsilk Ct.: ARR contacted on side yard of residence, and found to be in possession of a loaded syringe which contained “crystal” methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/3 – Fruitwood Cm: ARR- was contacted during a noise complaint and determined to be in possession of 3.615oz. of suspected marijuana. ARR- was released from the scene on a signed PTA.
  • 6/3 – Minnesota Ave: ARR was stopped for VC violations and found to be under the influence of controlled substance. A search of vehicle incident to arrest located suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Other Violations:

  • 5/26 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was causing a disturbance in Dollar General and the manager wanted him given a trespass admonishment. Upon contact, ARR refused to identify himself and refused to obey commands. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/4 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted outside of business, and found to be in possession of syringe(s). ARR stated syringes were for drug use. ARR released on a signed PTA.

Petty Theft

  • 5/24 – Lone Tree Way: 3 RES stole multiple items from Home Depot. 1 RES was apprehended by Loss Prevention. 2 RES fled the scene. Total amount stolen $750.96.
  • 5/24 – Balfour Rd: Unknown RES stole approx $150 worth of alcohol from the business. While fleeing struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot and fled unkown direction. Veh described as a white sedan.
  • 5/25 – Sand Creek Rd.: ARR was caught shoplifitng from business.
  • 5/26 – Arrowhead St.: RES stole vic bicycle from driveway between 0001-1200 hours. Estimated loss $600.
  • 5/26 – Winged Food Rd: RES- stole a garden hose, reel, and a nozzle valued at $100.
  • 5/26 – Sand Creek Rd: Unidentified RES stole VIC’s cell phone.
  • 5/27 – Lone Tree Way: RES took pillows and mattress covers. Loss $500.
  • 5/28 – Panorama Way: Stereo stolen from unlocked vehicle (Occ’d 05/27-05/28 2300-1010 hrs).
  • 5/31 – Second St.: RES’s stole an unknown amount of Olay products and fled the scene.
  • 5/31 – Oak St.: ARR- stole beer from the business and was located drinking it nearby. ARR- was placed under citizen’s arrest for theft. In addition, ARR- was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for his own safety. ARR- to MDF.
  • 6/1 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole items from business and was detained by LP. Several of RES’ friends entered the Loss Prevention office and caused a disturbance. All parties, including RES, fled the store.
  • 6/1 – Lone Tree Way: UNK RES entered store and stole approximately 10-15 pairs of jeans. Total approximate loss $700.
  • 6/2 – Lone Tree Way: 4 RES BFJ stole various items from Chevron. RES’s fled in a 1995 Blue Toyota sedan Total Loss was approximately $50.00.
  • 6/3 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole items from business. ARR also had a warrant for 459 PC out of Merced County. ARR released on a signed PTA.
  • 6/5 – City Park Way: RES ran off with VIC’S cell phone after asking to borrow it.
  • 6/5 – American Ave: Unknown Suspect(s) took VIC’s bike from bike rack. Bike is a maroon, TREK mountain bike. The right side of the handle bar is missing rubber cap. No known serial number.
  • 6/5 – Adams Ln: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted in regards to a Health and Safety code violation. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were both determined to have no bail outside warrants. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.

Runaway Juvenile

  • 5/25 – Birch St.:RES left the residnece without permission. RES entered into MUPS.

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 5/27 – Second St.:RP observed RES in the park taking pictures of children. RP confronted RES about the photos and RES fled scene.
  • 5/28 –Central Blvd: SUS made threats to shoot VICs. Threats determined to be unfounded. Case taken for documentation.

Vandalism

  • 5/23 – Monte Verde Ln: RES vandalized the play equipment with paintballs at Sungold Park.
  • 5/25 – Marshall Dr.: RES(s) threw eggs at residence between 5/24-2300 and 5/25-0800 hours, breaking an upstairs bedroom window.
  • 5/26 – Cathedral Cl: RES poured a caustic substance on VIC vehicle causing about $9500 damage.
  • 5/27 – Second St.: Graffiti on the walls of the business as well as drug paraphernalia found.
  • 5/27 – Alexander Way: Graffiti on a metal high voltage box on the walking trail behind Alexander Way.
  • 5/28 – Pomona Dr. – RES shot a bb gun through the window of VICs garage. VICs residence faces the back of Creekside Park.
  • 6/4 – Windy Springs Ln: RP woke up to his house alarm sounding. RP saw SUS standing at the backyard door. SUS fled the scene, and a window was later found shattered by an unknown device.
  • 6/5 – Minnesota Av: RES used super glue to fill key hole in about 20 door locks. Estimated damage value $1500.00.

Vehicle Code Violation

  • 6/5 – Foothill Dr.: RES was stopped for VC violations and led officer in reckless pursuit. Vehicle located unoccupied and RES identified through law enforcement database and case filed with DA.

Warrant Arrest

  • 5/23 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for FTA on 530.5, 459/460 PC. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 5/23 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was determined to have a warrant for his arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 5/23 – First St: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for FTA on 503 PC. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 5/24 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and had an outstanding JAWS warrant (23152(b) CVC) for her arrest. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 5/27 – Lone Tree Way: ARR detained for shoplifting at location and found to have outstanding warrant from Pittsburg PD for 532(a) PC. ARR released on PTA for warrant and complaint direct filed by business.
  • 6/4 – Prominent Dr: ARR was taken into custody on two outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants, and was transported to MDF.
  • 6/5 – Cornsilk Ct: ARR was placed under arrest for his outstanding felony warrant (PC 182(A)(1) and PC484/488). ARR to Juvenile Hall.
  • 6/5 – Adams Ln: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted in regards to a Health and Safety code violation. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were both determined to have no bail outside warrants. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 6/5 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was a passenger during a traffic stop. ARR was contacted and found to have a warrant. ARR to MDF.
