Here is a look at the road work scheduled for Highway 4 for the week of May 19, 2014 where lane closures have returned beginning Monday and last throughout the week. If you can, plan your travels accordingly.
FULL FREEWAY CLOSURES:
EASTBOUND:
There are no eastbound full freeway closures planned for this week.
WESTBOUND:
There are no westbound full freeway closures planned for this week.
HIGHWAY LANE CLOSURES:
There will be Highway lane closures in the eastbound direction between Loveridge Road and Somersville Rd/Auto Center Drive on Monday through Friday mornings from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
There will be Highway lane closures in the eastbound direction between Hillcrest Avenue and State Route 160 on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.
There will be Highway lane closures in the westbound direction between Somersville Road and Harbor Street on Monday through Friday mornings from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
RAMP CLOSURES:
There are no ramp closures planned for this week.
LOCAL STREET CLOSURES:
The southbound direction of Contra Loma Boulevard will be closed between Buchanan Road/Fitzuren Road and St. Francis Drive on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
SAND CREEK ROAD INTERCHANGE/4-LANE WIDENING CLOSURES:
The westbound on-ramp from Sand Creek Road will be closed on Thursday evening from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.
