Martinez: Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Subway

On June 1, 2015 at 7:36 pm, Martinez Units responded to 584 Center Ave. for a report of an Armed Robbery.

The employee advised two suspects entered the store and one suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded the money from the cash register. The suspect took the money out of the cash register as the second suspect walked into the back of the store with the employee. The second suspect took money from another part of the store.

Both suspects fled on foot and entered a silver colored four door Honda Civic and were last seen towards HWY 4.

  • Suspect #1 was describe as a WMA in his early 20’s wearing a black beanie, black colored hoodie, tan khaki shorts and black shoes. The suspect was armed with a silver colored semi automatic handgun.
  • Suspect #2 was described as a WMA in his early 20’s wearing a black and green colored Sharks baseball hat, grey zip up jacket, blue jeans and grey colored shoes. It is unknown if suspect #2 was armed.
