Brentwood PD

The following are calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between March 24 through March 30 according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department. This is a sampling of 61-calls:

Accident

  • 3/25 – Sand Creek Road: P-1 drove V-1 through window of business.
  • 3/25 – Pine St.: An unidentified responsible struck V-1 and fled without providing the required information.
  • 3/25 – Central Blvd.: V-1 collided with two trees and fled the scene.
  • 3/26 – Central Blvd: Vehicle Struck a pole
  • 3/30 – Sand Creek Road: V-1 collided with a light pole at the Streets of Brentwood causing cosmetic damage to the base of the pole. (private property)
  • 3/30 – American Ave: V-1 collided with parking lot entrance gate arm

Burglary – Business

  • 3/25 – Lone Tree Way: ARR entered business with intent to steal merchandise. ARR detained by loss prevention after attempting to steal merchandise. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/27 – Second Street: RES forced entry in classroom. It is unknown if any items were stolen.

Burglary – Residential

  • 3/25 – Spyglass Dr.: Side garage door was forced open causing damage to frame. Unk. if entry was made. No items missing. Occurred 03/24/14 at 2046 hours, alarm went off.
  • 3/26 Effie Ct.: Responsible(s) removed a toolbox, cordless drill, skateboard and several sports collectables from victim’s open garage.
  • 3/27 Dainty Ave: Unknown RES or SUS entered VIC’s residence via unknown means and stole jewelry and 10 firearms. Occd between 1820-2330 hrs on 3/27. Firearms entered into AFS.
  • 3/30 – Dainty Ave: RES forced entry into vacant building. Unknown when entry was made because property had been vacant for approximately 2 years.

Domestic Disturbance

  • 3/24 – Corte Vista St: INV-1 AND INV-2 engaged in a verbal argument. This report was taken for documentation purposes only
  • 3/27 – Handdel Way: Domestic violence investigation was determined to be a disturbance only with one party (ARR) having an active arrest warrant. ARR to MDF.

DUI

  • 3/27 – O’Hara Ave: ARR stopped for CVC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/27 – Wilcat Lane: ARR stopped for CVC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Forgery/ Counterfeiting

  • 3/24 – Baflour Rd: Counterfeit $10 bill passed at Chevron while purchasing gas.
  • 3/26 – Second St.: Unidentified RES passed a counterfeit $20 at location.
  • 3/28 – Brentwood Blvd: During a missing person investigation, RES-1 and RES-2 were in possession of items commonly used in identity theft.

Fraud / Credit Card & ATM Fraud

  • 3/27 – Castellina Dr: SUS attempted to open an account in Vics name
  • 3/27 – Guise Way: RES opened several accounts using RP’s personal information.
  • 3/29 – Lone Tree Way: Unidentified RES used VIC’s access card at location (Les Schwab Tires). VIC resides in Florida.
  • 3/29 – Balfour Rd: INV-1 paid business with two counterfeit $20 bills. It was determined INV-1 was not aware the bills were counterfeit. INV-1 paid the business the balance he owed. No loss from incident.

Narcotics

  • 3/28 – Block of Walnut Blvd.: ARR-1 was stopped for VC violation. During a search of the vehicle, officers locate 29.8 grams of methamphetamine and 12.9 grams of marijuana. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were both transported to MDF.
  • 3/28 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/29 – Balfour Rd: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to have a suspended CDL. Consent/Inventory of ARR’s veh located heroin, methamphetamine, and a methamphetamine pipe. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/30 – Lone Tree Way: ARR- was contacted in regards to being an unwanted guest and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR- to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 3/24 – Rockwell St.: ARR stole items from business and transported to MDF on an outstanding warrant.
  • 3/25 – Landover Ct.: Registration card stolen from VIC’S unlocked vehicle.
  • 3/25Brentwood Blvd: RES exited the store with store merchandise he did not pay for.
  • 3/25 Sand Creek Rd.:  RES-1 and RES-2 stole alcohol from the business and fled.
  • 3/25 – Second St.: RES stole liquor from business and fled on foot.
  • 3/27 – Lathem Ct.: Unlocked vehicle in driveway rifled through (Occ’d 03/27 0430-0510).
  • 3/27 Griffith Lane: Wallet taken out of locked locker.
  • 3/27 – Griffith Lane: Unknown responsible(s) broke into victim’s locker and stole gym bag with wallet, bank cards, cash, and other miscellaneous items.
  • 3/28 – Lone Tree Way: RES(s) stole a power tool valued at $279 from VIC business. RES(s) left the business prior to law enforcement arrival.
    3/28 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 stole two cases of beer valued at $28.98
  • 3/30 – Rockwell St.: Victims catalytic converter stolen overnight
  • 3/30 – Tradition Way – Victim’s rear license plate stolen from his vehicle.

Prowler

  • 3/24 – Marina Way: RP was walking service dog and observed 3- RES(s) subjects prowling into a vehicle. RES’s left area prior to police arrival

Theft / Grand Theft

  • 3/24 – Piata Ct: Tools and fixtures stolen from house by sub-contractor. Est loss : $1100
  • 3/25 – Eisenhower Way: RP in lobby to report purse stolen out of BF’s vehicle.
  • 3/25Brentwood Blvd: RES exited the store with store merchandise he did not pay for.
  • 3/26 – Sand Creek Road: Thirteen pairs of sunglasses stolen from business (Loss: $3,895.00).
  • 3/27 – Havenwood Ave: VIC’s vehicle stolen from driveway. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 3/28 – Sand Creek Road: Driver side key hole was punched out of VIC’s vehicle. Take was a Pioneer stereo and clothing valued at approximately $450.
  • 3/28 – Sand Creek Road: Driver side key hole was punched out of VIC’s vehicle. Take was groceries, clothes, and checks valued at approximately $360.
  • 3/29 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole merchandise from location and attempted fraudulent return at Pittsburg location.

Trespassing

  • 3/26 – Second St.: ARRs were contacted on the roof of location. ARRs placed under private person arrest and released on PTA.

Vandalism

  • 3/25 – Katherine Ct.: RES slashed driver’s side tires on VIC’s 2008 Jeep, causing approximately $500 dollars in damage.
  • 3/25 – Whitehall Lane: Front door of residence defaced with red markings.
  • 3/27 – Jane Way: Responsible(s) used spray paint to write on walls of structure at southwest corner of Sunset and Jane Way.
  • 3/28 – Azalea Way: Graffiti found on the play structure of Almond Park.
  • 3/28 – Sciortino Ct.: Victim’s tire was slashed by unknown responsible.

Warrant

  • 3/26 – First Street: ARR Contacted and found to have outstanding Warrant. ARR to MDF
  • 3/28 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR had an outstanding warrant. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 3/29 – Sycamore Ave: ARR was contacted as a passenger during a traffic stop and found to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/30 – Orchard Dr: ARR contacted outside residence, and found to have an outstanding non-citable warrant. ARR to MDF.

Weapons Violations

  • 3/24 – Griffith Lane: ARR brandished a knife at VIC while challenging him to fight. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/25 – Indiana Ave: ARR fled from police on foot and arrested on misdemeanor warrant after foot pursuit. ARR found to be in possession of illegal knife. ARR to MDF.
  • 3/25 – Sycamore Ave: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of dangerous weapon. ARR released per 849(b) PC.

So much for a quiet little town of Brentwood. This is scary what is going on in Brentwood and few are even aware or talking about it. We need more police!
