Lumpy’s Diner in Antioch will be reopening Thursday morning at 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and the community is invited to stop by and show support.
The restaurant has been closed since the untimely passing Tuesday morning of owner, Jeremy “Lumpy” Sturgill, 35 of Brentwood.
Strawns Concrete of Brentwood will be paying the wages of staff tomorrow to help lighten the financial burden on the family. You are encouraged to come down and eat, reflect or donate to the Sturgills if you would like.
There has been an account set up at Wells Fargo Bank where you may donate at any branch–simply say you wish to donate to the Sturgill family.
On Friday, at 8:30 pm there will be a candlelight vigil for Lumpy at the Antioch location. Please come and show your support.
