On September 2, the Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center will host a comedy night with headliner Kristen Frisk and opening act Diana Hong.

Opener: Diana Hong
A retired vagabond and Sacramento native, Diana Hong is also a stand-up comedian who has performed at comedy clubs and bars throughout the country and a regular at Punch Line Sacramento, Punch Line San Francisco, Tommy T’s in Rancho Cordova, and Laughs Unlimited. Much like other Korean girls who grew up in the 90s, Diana spent most of her life playing competitive golf but due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a disdain for running and a new-found appreciation for money, her enthusiasm for golf dwindled. With a life ranging from professional athletics to retail and with the personal trials in between, Diana is sure to entertain audiences from all walks of life.
About Kristen Frisk:
Stand-up comedian Kristen Frisk was born in Santa Clara, CA. She moved 14 times all by the time she was 14. Needless to say, she knows how to mingle. Kristen was 7 the first time getting on stage. 10 years later, she was voted class clown and had to perform a comedy skit in front of her senior class. It was then she realized being on stage was a safe escape from her turbulent past.
Frisk’s comedy is without filters…elaborating on marriage, kids, health, body issues and romantic innuendos. She’s making her mark as a female comic, proving that women can be smart, sexy and funny. She constantly strives to make beauty from ashes and uses her quit wit and sarcasm from her life experiences, to uplift and make others smile. Kristen is best known for being a part of the Real Funny Housewives of Rio Linda, with founder Cheryl (the soccer Mom) Anderson, Stephanie Garcia, Sinn D Rella and Kimmy Kay.
Kristen has Featured for acts such as Adele Givens, Natasha Leggero, Jennifer Coolidge, and Scott Capurro. Recently, she won “Best of the Fest” at the 2016 Burbank Comedy Festival.
Kristen is steadily working her way up the comedy club chain at venues such as Laugh’s Unlimited Comedy Club – Sacramento, CA, Punchline – Sacramento, CA and Tommy Ts – Rancho Cordova, CA. She majored in bad life decisions, however is now applying herself like makeup and ready for the next level on comedy…whatever that may be.
