Letter: Writer Supports John Fink for Brentwood City Council

by ECT

Dear Editor

I am supporting John Fink, candidate for Brentwood City Council member. Let me tell you why:

I’ve known John for the past fourteen years, serving with him as a volunteer in police services with the Brentwood Police Department. His reputation as a role model for honesty, integrity, and work ethic is in a class by itself.

John’s community dedication includes serving as past president of Heritage High School’s Parents Club Board of Directors, past president of the Brentwood Rotary Club, and is currently serving his fourth term as member of the Brentwood Planning Commission. He is the most experienced candidate running for Brentwood City Council.

John believes in the protection of agriculture areas to the South and East of Brentwood. He supports Brentwood’s economic growth and is passionate about keeping Brentwood a vibrant and safe city for all of us. In addition, he is dedicated to maintaining the 30 percent reserve in the city’s general fund.

There are big challenges facing our city including the funding of a new library, the funding of the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, and the construction of a new Brentwood Police Department Dispatch Center. His working experience as a Brentwood Planning Commissioner would enable him to hit the ground running as a city council member, undertaking the issues facing our cities.

Please join with me in helping to elect John Fink Brentwood City Council member.

Mike Graziadei
