Please join me in supporting Jelani Killings for Pittsburg City Council. Jelani is an independent voice with a solid plan to empower residents through civic engagement and workforce development. He brings passion, vision and represents positive change.
Jelani has deep roots in Pittsburg. As a Pittsburg Summer Youth Corp volunteer, Jelani spent hours on cleanup and beautification projects. As a Pittsburg Youth Commissioner, he advised the City Council on issues of safety, job training, and arts-and-recreation opportunities. Jelani continues to work with the Pittsburg Youth Summit as a presenter and volunteer.
Equipped with a B.A. in Business Administration and Masters in Public Administration, and experience as a City of Oakland ethics analyst and Contra Costa Economic Opportunity Council executive board member, Jelani has what Pittsburg needs.
