I know Antioch is a great place to live and I’m supporting Measure W so we can make it even better!
My family and I moved here over 20 years ago because we wanted to live in a nice home with a yard in a diverse neighborhood – all in a growing city. Our Mello-Roos contributions helped build the City’s infrastructure and our daughter was in the inaugural 6th grade class at Dallas Ranch Middle School. She went on to graduate from Deer Valley HS which prepared her for success in college.
I’ve seen Antioch grow up … from the days when we couldn’t get a pizza delivered to our home to today, where we have nice restaurants, an expanded BART system, major stores and shopping districts. I’ve also seen the benefits of Measure C – the expanded police presence and code enforcement keeping our streets and neighborhoods cleaner and safe.
We’re at a good place, but I can see the future. The future is more recreational opportunities for our young citizens, maintaining clean water, stopping illegal dumping and faster emergency response times, to name a few. Measure W brings us all of that and more. On November 6th, please join me in voting YES on Measure W.

At some point there’s a law of diminishing returns. Take the auto industry on old Sommersville. Instead of their advertising program of “travel a little and save a lot,” those across the border can advertise to travel another 3000 feet and immediate save $200 – $500 or more on your new car!
Just say NO. NO NEW TAXES. Live within your means, oh year these are politicians that believe your pocket is their pocket. Stops here, I will not be shopping in Antioch if this passes, will take my tax dollars out of Antioch to Pittsburg or Concord.
MR you can’t go 3000 feet and save on a car. Why? Because you are charged based on where you live not where you buy. Nice try.
