The Antioch Police Department announced they will host its 81st installment of the Neighborhood Cleanup Program.
The 81st Neighborhood Cleanup event will occur on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. –11:00 a.m. The event will be focused on cleaning the neighborhoods along G Street, A Street and Drake Street. Volunteers will meet at D and Drake Streets and park along the curb.
Volunteers will receive instructions and the equipment necessary to accomplish the goal. The targeted area is within walking distance.
This is a collaborative community effort which involves active participation from the Antioch Police Department Crime Prevention Commission, Neighborhood Watch Program, Volunteers in Police Service, community volunteers and the Public Works Department.
Excluding inclement weather, future Neighborhood Cleanup events are scheduled for the first Saturday of every month and the locations will be announced in advance.
